We had just experienced a worse ice storm in Toronto, lost hydro power near 50 hours in my area. In a Condo tower, our emergency fuel ran low after 24 hrs, and possible in total darkness.
We fled to a friend house on Sunday night. A warm bed and hot drink was luxury.
Beside the catastrophic of the ice storm, it's truly a winter wonderland where the tree is not down and taking the hydro lines with. it's just so beautiful, all the branches of trees is wrapped in thick ice, which sparkling in mid-day sun today.
Yep it's inconvenient at the time, compare to our boat journey on the south China sea 35 years ago, it's nothing, beside COLD.
Warmly,
Vivian

Our
personality is shaped by our experiences in life, the people we
encountered, as Van wrote in Facebook. My personality has been shaped
by strong feelings of empathy, loyalty, righteousness, etc… all nurtured
by the love of visual art.
There
are beauty everywhere if we just enjoy that moment. Driving home from a
newer neighbourhood, I was tempting to stop on the road and take some
picture… here are the 2 photos I took at a gas station, any corner gas
station at 1 pm. Few more photos my son took on Sunday at rour condo on
Sunday.
I often going to the public photos and studying shaped of things/objects for shaped and values. google Toronto Ice storm, tons of photos.
I will try my best to have time in April if not interfere with other priority.
Btw, we located very central almost a middle of toronto if you put your finger on Toronto city Map, not GTA map.
Sincerely,
Vivian
